In order to provide a cost estimate, we will need a rough drawing of your countertop area. You can easily do that on your own, by following the steps in this document.
Once the drawing is completed, please email to us, fax, or bring to our showroom.
Prior to fabrication, your countertops will be measured by a professional from Artistic Granite to obtain the precise measurements for the actual cutting of the stone.
This is all you need to do for preparing your countertop drawing:
Begin drawing your kitchen shape on the graph paper, by following the steps below:
Measure your countertops by following the steps below. Indicate all measurements in inches on the drawing you just completed. Please provide measurements as accurate as possible.
Measure along the wall from one edge to the opposite edge.
For replacement of existing countertops, measure from the back wall to the edge of countertops.
For countertops on new cabinets, measure from the back wall to front of cabinets, add 1 ½ for overhang and calculate the total width.
Measure the countertop length and width, including all overhangs.
